Joaquin Phoenix has joined forces with Extinction Rebellion and Amazon Watch, unveiling a new campaign 'engaging the public in different aspects of the climate and ecological emergency'.

The Joker star appears alongside fellow Hollywood actors Rosario Dawson, Matthew Modine, and Oona Chaplin in the Guardians of Life film, and he commented 'It’s really a call to action. I did it to raise awareness about the meat and dairy industry’s effect on climate change... People don’t realise there’s still time, but only if we act now and make sweeping changes to our consumption'.
